About Me

I am a Research Software Engineer at IST Austria, working in the Visual Computing Lab on different projects within Bernd Bickel's group. My interests focus on physics-based simulation and data-driven, deep-learning techniques applied to realistic simulation, computer graphics and computational design.

I obtained my PhD in Computer Graphics in 2014, under the supervision of Miguel A. Otaduy. During my PhD I did several interships: in Disney Research Zurich, Disney Animation Studios and Institute for Creative Technologies. After graduation, I joined the Visual Computing Lab at IST Austria as a post-doctoral researcher. In 2017, I moved back to Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) as a post-doctoral fellow and, together with 3 other researchers, we founded Desilico Labs (now Seddi), a startup focused on fabric simulation and digitalization where I worked as Research Scientist.
